TripLedger is offline-first and tour-centred. Each tour has its own members, deposits, checklist, itinerary, photos and reports. You don't need an account, the data isn't on someone else's server, and the per-tour structure means old trips never clutter the current one.
Equal for shared hotels and transport. Selected when only some members joined an activity. Percentage when one person agreed to cover more. Weight for "kids count half" rules or when contributions are uneven.
Members carry a join date — expenses before that date are excluded from their share. If someone leaves mid-tour you can either settle their balance immediately (refund surplus / collect shortfall) or forfeit their deposits to the kitty.
Yes. Every expense, deposit and settlement is editable and reversible (void). Editing recomputes all balances instantly. Nothing is hard-deleted, so the history stays auditable.
Local encrypted backup writes a ZIP including the database and all receipt photos — restorable on a new phone in seconds. Optional Google Drive backup uploads the same ZIP to the app's private Drive folder if you sign in.
TripLedger is free, supported by Google AdMob ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded video and app-open). No subscription, no account. A one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase clears every ad forever, or you can watch a short rewarded video for a 1-hour ad-free pass. There's also an optional Tip Jar if you want to send a coffee.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your Android Advertising ID, approximate (IP-based) location, ad-interaction events and diagnostics. None of your trip data — tours, expenses, members, receipts — is sent to AdMob. You can reset your Advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. EU/UK users see a Google UMP consent prompt before any ads load.
Tour Summary covers the whole tour. Member Statement is a personal ledger for one member. Settlement lists every transfer needed to close the books. Budget Plan compares planned vs actual spending. All four are branded, shareable via WhatsApp/email, and produced offline.
