These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TailorOS — the Android app and any related services (the "Service"), operated by Black & White Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

TailorOS is an Android application for tailoring shops, boutiques and individual tailors, offering:

• Customer management with phone search.
• Measurement system with history.
• Order management with delivery and trial dates, status tracking and image attachments.
• Advance, partial and due payment tracking with reports.
• Dashboard analytics, expenses, encrypted Drive backup and restore.
• Optional ecommerce catalog (controlled remotely).

3. Guest mode & accounts

TailorOS defaults to Guest mode — no account is required. Google sign-in is optional and enables cloud backup and (later) multi-device sync. You are responsible for keeping your device and (if you use it) your Google account secure.

4. Free & Premium

Premium expands limits and unlocks features such as unlimited customers and orders, cloud sync, advanced reports, analytics, staff accounts, multi-device support and auto backup. Premium never blocks the app; reaching a free limit shows an upgrade prompt instead. Premium, where offered, is processed by Google Play.

5. Acceptable use

• You will use the Service only for lawful tailoring/boutique operations.
• You will obtain any consent required from your customers to store their personal data and measurements.
• You will not reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app or its encryption.

6. Your data & responsibilities

You are the controller of customer, measurement, order and payment data. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful basis of every entry, for keeping the device and (if used) Google account secure, and for backing up regularly.

7. Offline-first & data loss

All business data is stored on your device. If you uninstall, factory-reset or lose the device without a valid backup, the data is permanently lost. We cannot recover local data.

8. Backups

Drive backups are AES-encrypted before upload and live in your own Google Drive AppData folder. We do not access them. Restoration depends on backup integrity.

9. Remote configuration & ecommerce

TailorOS uses Remote Config to control feature flags including force updates, ecommerce visibility, maintenance mode and premium toggles — without requiring an app update. The ecommerce catalog is hidden by default and may be enabled or curated remotely.

10. Availability & updates

We aim for high availability but make no guarantee. Updates may add features, change limits or trigger minimum-version requirements via Remote Config.

11. Intellectual property

TailorOS, its name, logo, code and design are owned by Black & White Studio. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence under these Terms. You retain ownership of your own data.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Always verify critical totals independently.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black & White Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling and removing your Drive backup.
