These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Neon Text Board — the Android app (the "App"), operated by Black & White Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Google Play's terms. If you disagree, do not use the App.
By using Neon Text Board you agree to these Terms and to Google Play's terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your own device.
Anything you type into the App (the "User Content") is yours. You are solely responsible for what you display on your screen and for any consequences of doing so in public. We do not pre-screen User Content and have no obligation to monitor it; the App stores it locally on your device.
The free tier of the App shows advertisements via Google AdMob, and offers optional rewarded ads in exchange for unlocking individual premium items (e.g. a premium font). You are not required to watch rewarded ads.
The one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase is processed through Google Play Billing. It removes all banner and full-screen ads forever and permanently unlocks all premium fonts, motion effects and gradient backgrounds. Refunds, cancellations and family-sharing of the purchase are governed by Google Play's policies, not by us. We are unable to issue refunds outside of Google Play.
Flashing, blinking and rapidly-changing visual effects can affect people with photosensitive epilepsy and may also be distracting in unsafe contexts. You agree to:
We are not responsible for any health effects of viewing the App's screen, and the App is provided "as is" with no medical claims.
Your messages, presets and design choices are stored locally on your device. We have no access to them and are not responsible for their loss. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and may update the App to maintain compatibility with new Android versions.
Neon Text Board, its name, logo, code, design, default fonts (where licensed) and original artwork are owned by Black & White Studio or licensed to it. You retain ownership of the User Content you type. If you use a photo as a backdrop or include third-party imagery in an exported design, you are responsible for having the rights to do so.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or visible at any particular brightness on any particular device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black & White Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss (including missed pickups, missed cues, lost data, profits or goodwill, or any injury arising from photosensitivity or distraction) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
We may suspend or terminate the licence on breach or misuse. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Any one-time purchases you have completed remain governed by Google Play's policies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless your local mandatory law provides otherwise.
