Neon Text Board is a fully on-device LED scrolling text app. It has no account or login system, no cloud sync, and does not transmit your messages or saved presets to us or any third party. We never see what you type.
Everything you create is stored locally in the app's private storage:
If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted from your device.
We do not request location, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, call log or device-ID permissions.
The free tier shows ads via Google AdMob (banner and full-screen interstitials), and offers optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch in order to unlock an individual premium item. Google may process device-level identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID) and limited interaction data to deliver and measure ads — see Google's ad policy. You can reset or limit the Advertising ID in your device settings.
The one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase is processed through Google Play Billing. It permanently removes every ad and unlocks all premium fonts, motion effects and gradient backgrounds. The app does not collect or store your payment information — that is handled by Google Play.

We do not share, sell or rent your data to third parties. Beyond the AdMob and Play Billing integrations above, nothing leaves the device.
Neon Text Board contains no account system, no first-party analytics and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you.
Your messages and presets live in the app's private storage sandbox, accessible only to the app. Because nothing is uploaded to a server we run, there is no server-side copy of your data to be breached.
We hold no data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. To remove everything, delete individual presets in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall it. Any exported images you saved live wherever you saved them (your gallery, cloud, etc.) and are subject to your own choices.
Neon Text Board is rated Everyone / 3+ and is not directed at children under 13. We collect no personal data from anyone. The free tier shows AdMob ads; parents should consider purchasing Remove Ads for child use.
Some motion effects (Flash, Blink, Flicker and high-speed scroll) include rapid changes of light and colour. A very small percentage of people may experience symptoms when exposed to certain flashing patterns. If you or anyone in your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures, consult a doctor before using these effects, and discontinue use if you feel unwell.
