This Privacy Policy explains how Bill Splitter & Tip Calculator ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the app. Bill Splitter & Tip Calculator is developed by Black & White Studio. The app is built to be private and fully offline.

Information we handle

The app does not require an account or sign-up, and it never asks for bank or payment information. The information you enter stays on your device:

• Split data — bill amounts, tips, tax, people, groups, balances and history you create are stored locally on your device so you can review them later.
• No personal data collection — we do not collect, upload or sell your personal information. Your splits are not sent to our servers.
• Advertising — the app is free with ads. Third-party ad providers (such as Google AdMob) may process limited device data to serve ads in accordance with their own privacy policies.

How information is used

The data you enter is used solely to calculate splits and tips, track who owes who, and show your spending insights on your device. Sharing a breakdown uses your device's standard share sheet only when you choose to share.

Data sharing

We do not sell your information. Aside from the advertising providers described above, the app does not share your data with third parties.

Data retention & control

Because data is stored locally, you remain in control. You can delete splits, groups and history within the app, and uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data from your device.

Children

Bill Splitter & Tip Calculator is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
