Acceptance

By downloading or using Party Light ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't install the app.

License

Black & White Studio grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Android devices and Wear OS watches you own or control, for personal use, free of charge.

What the app is for

Party Light is an entertainment app that turns your phone, tablet or watch into a full-screen color light with music synchronization, beat detection, DJ patterns and multi-device sync for parties, concerts, weddings and other gatherings.

Photosensitive epilepsy warning: Party Light produces flashing lights, strobe effects and rapid color transitions. These visual patterns can trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, even those with no prior diagnosed seizure history. If you or anyone in your audience may be at risk, do not use the strobe-style effects (Strobe, Police, Club Flash, Pulse Explosion, EDM Drop, Fireworks). The app provides calmer alternatives (Candle, Galaxy, Fire) for sensitive contexts.

Microphone use

When you enable music synchronization, Party Light listens through your device microphone in real time to detect beats. The audio is processed on-device only — no recording is stored and no audio is uploaded to any server. You can disable microphone access at any time in Android Settings.

Multi-device synchronization

Multi-device sync uses your local network. When you host a session, you are responsible for ensuring that only intended devices join it. Do not use multi-device features on untrusted public networks.

Limitations of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black & White Studio is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of the app — including but not limited to medical events triggered by photosensitive effects, eye strain from prolonged exposure to bright lights, or any property damage from operating the app on a device used in adverse conditions.

Acceptable use

You may not use Party Light to harass, harm or distress others. You may not use it as a substitute for emergency lighting, safety beacons or any life-safety equipment.

Changes

We may update, change or remove features at any time, including discontinuing the app entirely.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.
