No. FundNest is a record-keeping ledger, not a financial product. It does not calculate interest, does not issue or broker loans, does not move money, and is not a bank, lender or investment service. Member-to-fund book entries are records of arrangements between people who already know each other — you type the numbers, FundNest stores them.
Yes — completely. Every record operation succeeds without internet. The local Room database (encrypted with SQLCipher) is the source of truth. Drive backup is the only step that needs a connection.
The database is encrypted at rest with a key stored in the Android Keystore. Backups are AES-256 encrypted before upload, and we never see them — they live in your own private Drive folder.
