These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Alarm Mate — the Android app (the "App"), operated by Black & White Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Google Play's terms. If you disagree, do not use the App.
By using Alarm Mate you agree to these Terms and to Google Play's terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your own device.
Alarm Mate is designed to fire reliably — playing over silent/Do-Not-Disturb, surviving reboots, and requesting exemption from battery optimisation. However, alarm delivery ultimately depends on your device's manufacturer settings, operating system behaviour, battery state and the permissions you grant. We cannot guarantee that an alarm will always sound. You are responsible for granting the permissions the App requests, testing your alarms, and keeping an independent backup alarm for anything important (flights, exams, medication, work).
Your alarms, habits, routines and stats are stored locally on your device. We have no access to them and are not responsible for their loss. Keep a backup; we cannot recover lost data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Alarm Mate is provided free of charge, with no ads and no account required. If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be sold through Google Play under Google's payment terms and clearly described at the point of purchase.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and may update the App to maintain compatibility with new Android versions.
Alarm Mate, its name, logo, code and design are owned by Black & White Studio. You retain ownership of the data you enter.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that an alarm will sound or that you will wake up.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black & White Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss (including missed appointments, oversleeping, lost data, profits or goodwill) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
We may suspend or terminate the licence on breach or misuse. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless your local mandatory law provides otherwise.
