# Alarm Mate

> Alarm Mate is a mission-based alarm clock for Android, built for heavy sleepers. Every alarm can be guarded by a wake-up mission you must complete before it stops ringing — solve math, shake the phone, walk, do squats, type a quote, scan a QR or barcode, and more. Mission alarms expose no Stop button, so you can't snooze your way back to bed. ## What it is

Alarm Mate replaces a normal alarm — which your brain learns to dismiss in its sleep — with an alarm you have to earn the silence from. Pick a mission, a difficulty and a number of rounds; when the alarm fires it takes over the full screen (even on the lock screen) and only stops when the mission is complete. Underneath is a serious alarm engine that beats silent mode, DND, reboots and OEM battery optimisation.
